We are trialling an online Homework programme for our juniors through the free to access internet site www.studyladder.co.uk This free facility allows pupils to login using a username and password which can be accessed at home as well as in school. Mrs. Hobrow and Mr. Roberts will meet up and select a new piece of homework every Wednesday after school. The pupils will be notified of their homework and they can then login to the page by typing their username and password in the top right hand corner. They will then go to their 'homepage' and their two teacher chosen tasks, Numeracy and Literacy, will be at the bottom for them to complete. All the activites are game based and marked automatically. Mr. Roberts and Mrs. Hobrow will be able to keep a track of who has completed their tasks and view their progress online through their own individual login information. There are also video clips from teachers who explain and demonstrate how to do certain activities. There are also some certain activities which provide paper based resources for those who do not have internet access at home.
